Recovery time will vary depending on which procedure was used. If you had the laparoscopic surgery then you will have some pain for 3-4 days. The pain from open surgery will last from 7-10 days. Your post operative care will include, no lifting, no strenuous activity for 3-6 weeks, and no sexual activity. Your body will need this time to recover from the surgery.
