Most of us live our lives like a penned up animal. Way to often we put ourselves in a cage, We have bodies that are designed for racing through life but our lifestyles are pretty much a daily routine of getting out of bed, grabbing a bite to eat on the way out the door, we get into the car and drive to work, eat lunch, finish our day at work and back to the house we go, Most of the time we eat supper and get on the couch until it is bedtime again.


It has not always this way. Not long ago in the United States, a man who worked on a farm did the equivalent of 15 miles of jogging every day and his wife did the equivalent of 7 miles of jogging, And today our fast paced work and home life keep us tied down and most of us don't have time or take the time to exercise loss weight. The health experts tell us that the obesity problem is probably caused as much by the lack of physical activity or exercise as by eating too much. So it is very important that people need to move around. Now, that does not mean that a lap or two around the track at the high school will compensate for a half of dozen candy bars.


Exercise alone is not very efficient, experts say. That if you just exercise and do not change your diet, that you may be able to prevent weight gain or even lose a few pounds for a while. And most likely you will not be able to sustain the weight loss unless exercise is a big part of your program. The more regularly you exercise, the easier it is for you to maintain your weight.


Here is what you need to do every day to make sure that you get the exercise you need. You need to get plenty of rest. Make sure that you get plenty of sleep. Good sleep habits are conducive to exercise, experts say. That If you feel worn out during the day, you are less likely to get much physical activity during the day, so sleep is the first step in your plan. And there is evidence that when people are tired that they tend to eat more, using food and caffeine as a substance for the rest they need and did not get.


Walking for your health. Walking is probably the easiest exercises of all, or at least for most people, some professional health experts claim that it may be the only exercise that you have to do. You need to build your walking program up a little at a time and to at least 30 minutes a day. Brisk walks have health and psychological benefits that are well worth the time.


Indoor walking. Most of us are not going to be able to walk outside when the weather is bad, or even want to. But you can still walk inside if you have a treadmill, you can set it up so you can watch TV and walk at the same time and still stay on your exercise program. Most People watch TV anyways so put to use your indoor equipment and stay with your plan to get your healthy walking done. No excuses. With our busy lifestyles these days it is very easy to find excuses to not do some things, So we need to put aside our excuses and work out a plan to get in the time we need to keep us on track to gain the success that we are looking for.


The health experts say that you need to get as much exercise as you can that feels good without letting it interfere with your work or family life. Your health is a gift to you and your family, Exercise can help you prevent many health problems when you exercise loss weight. So make a plan today and stick with it you can reach your goals but only if you stick to the plan.
